Bangkok is one hell of an experience! I can’t say I rate the place that highly but it was certainly a good place to start. The words “full on” hardly do it justice.
I spent one and a half days there which was more than enough. In my first day a tuk tuk driver tried to scam me, someone pinched my hat and I got ripped off by a hostel. On the brighter side of things, I met some rather rad people who gave me a little guidance and someone to talk to which was great. The next day we’d arranged to meet at a Plaza. I took my backpack as I didn’t trust to leave it in the hostel. With it’s bulk I couldn’t move in the damn place so I just got a taxi to the train station and bought a ticket to Chiang Mai.
Waiting at the train station I met an Italian guy, Oman. We have the same camera and got chatting over a beer. He lives in Bangkok but has family in Chiang Mai. At the last minute he decided to jump on the train with me and go for the trip with nothing but his camera. The ride up was nowhere near as bad as I thought it’d be and presented some cool opportunities for photos.
I officially can’t be fucked continuing with this post because the formatting is screwed and I don’t know how to fix it. Rah!

“I officially can’t be fucked”
- nice entry for occupation in your passport
- excellent for ‘most recent job’ on your resume
- really cool ‘reason for leaving’ your last job on your
resume (”couldn’t be fucked not being officially fucked any
more”)

Looks fantastic mate.
Great shots all round. Very photojournalistic imagery. With
shots like that, you could be working for the local rag.
